I have the MES 30 w/ window. So far works great. Have smoked a tri-tip roast and brisket, both came ourt better than I expceted. Tomorrow morning, a nice pork shoulder is going in. Happy Smokin to all.
Okay so here we go. Smoked my first Tri-Tip today, 51/4 lbs. straight forward simple rub applied, let it sit for about 2 hours, prepped the smoker time to rock & rock. No grill time, not able to reach it or anything fancy, I am working out of a wheel chair.

How long at that temp, or just smoke it until the internal temp reaches 135 to 145? New at this and the last thing I want to do is waste a good piece of meat.
