Thanks Todd, I picked up a Plasma cutter after I cut the door out with a zip blade and a sawzall ( what a great new toy!)  I did use a laser level to mark out the cuts to the end of the tank . We will be trying it out on some ribs this Sat while I start on the trailer mods.

Test fire went well, I was surprised how little fire wood it required to hold the temp in the main chamber at 250 lower rack and at least 30 degress hotter at upper shelf, the warmer box got up to 185 after 3hrs or so. Now to get to work on the trailer my buddy donated to the project, here is...

Hi, so I was thinking about running a 6" pipe across the bottom and then laying in the baffle without any welds so I could lift it out and pressure wash the inside once in a while, does this make sense and is a 6" flue from the fire box big enough? Check out the pictures
