Anyone have the rotisserie kit for a MB gravity smoker?

I like more direct heat at my bird when I spin it. Bird goes onto my gasser with a rotti burner.

Anyone have the rotisserie kit for a MB gravity smoker?

I've got one. Hardly use it. For birds, I normally find myself spatchcocking them vs spinning them.

To seal or not to seal door

In a pellet smoker, it's all personal preference. It won't have any effect on the overall performance of the smoker. Unlike a charcoal or stick burner where the air leaks and air flow can affect the burn and temperature control.

    Pit boss ERL code ????

One of the vertical smokers? ErL is a bad temp sensor most of the time. It has stopped reading the temp and goes Error Low (ErL). $15 of Amazon if you don’t want to wait on PitBoss support.

    Vertical Smoker Recommendation (NOT PITT-BOSS)

The cap height will help regulate temps in the cabinet. Down for high heat, up for low, but it won’t help with the ErL code. I had the same behavior in my series 4. Replaced the temp sensor and it was still going strong another 20 cooks later when I sold it.

    Vertical Smoker Recommendation (NOT PITT-BOSS)

ErL is most often the temp sensor. It’s a $15 part you can get on Amazon. I had a PB series 4 from Lowes and had seen that problem in my research. Immediately ordered a spare and had to use it on my 3rd cook. Then ordered another spare to keep on hand.
