Pellet or Kamado for this turkey recipe?

Not overpowering if that helps out? When I do pulled pork on both grills I find the pellet grill has less smoke flavor but thats on the grills for several hours. I havent done a turkey before. Just poultry on the kamado but cooks quickly at higher heat.

Pellet or Kamado for this turkey recipe?

Im in Raleigh so it's not that cold. 50's. Im comfortable with both. Kamado holds temps very steady and pellet fluctuates but food turns out great. Im leaning towards pellet since I have a little more room for spatchcock.

Pellet or Kamado for this turkey recipe?

https://www.seriouseats.com/2015/11/the-food-lab-step-by-step-guide-smoking-turkey.html I plan to follow this recipe. Do you think I would have better results from my kamado or pellet grill? Kamado would be indirect with lump and some apple wood chunks. Pellet would be Pit Boss competition pellets.
