Char-broil vertical electric - second smoke run and still no smoke from the chips...Help???
Ctnd... You have to preheat this unit. It takes 40 minutes to do so. You turn the heat all the way up or all the way down until it says PH on the digital screen and the preheat process starts by itself...- eleon

So, first time using this exact same smoker and just like you, I was getting no smoke. I started researching and seen this thread. Im glad im not the only one lol. Anyway, I read the manual after I encountered the problem and found out I have to preheat this- eleon
