Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Not so warm here Gary, was -47c with the windchill today and has been since Monday. Tough to get inspired to cook outside in this weather. Supposed to warm up to -15c this weekend so I'm hoping to season the smoker and run some jalapeño cheddar deer sausage...- highsteelman

Hello all, I'm here to learn a little, I recently picked up a Masterbuilt Sportsman Elite 40. It is my first digital smoker and looks like a change from my old fridge and hot plate smoker that kicked the bucket. I look forward to learning and experimenting.- highsteelman
