16x32 too small?
Yeah I don't generally smoke a turkey heavier than about 12 pounds, since things tend to get dicey much bigger. Thanks for the info.- krk30

Thanks for the info, will that make the turkey too wide for a 16 inch grate splayed out like that? Yeah the bigger would be more comfortable but it's about a 300 dollar difference, the 16 is about 650 the 20 is 925. Just trying to see what that extra 4 inches means in terms of things I could do...- krk30

I am considering upgrading to an EOS and I have a few options in my price range, a 16x32 and a 20x32. I do mostly just backyard stuff for the family maybe a small party, but my concern with the 16 inch is will it be able to hold taller food without hitting the top? Like a turkey? Thinking about purchasing a new smoker. Deciding between a 16x32 inch offset and a 20x32 inch offset. My concern is a 16 inch won't be tall enough to fit a turkey or 2 in there without being taken apart. Anyone have experience?
