    I started my build. I burnt it out and then sandblasted. I'm using my old Weber kettle bottom for the lid. The kettle lid I used the outside ring inserted it in the drum to make a tight fit for the kennel bottom.

    That's a good point about reusing the lid for your Webber. I was just thinking the extra space you get out of the bottom of the Webber would seem worth sacrificing the old Webber I got.
