Thanks for the help. Im not sure the best way to try and make a stack due to the style of my vent. I am kind of hesitant about drilling holes on the cabinet since I had to drill a big one for the smoke from the mailbox. If thats what I need to do then I will. Also, I was kind of thinking the...
That sounds like a good start. Tonight I am going to bring the mailbox level with the cabinet and try to shorten the travel length for the smoke and see if that helps too
I ended getting a wild hair up my butt this morning and did the mailbox mod. It is working like a charm. However, I am not getting enough air in the cabinet and all my smoke pours out the mailbox unless I have door cracked. When the door is cracked I could get tbs all day long. I am thinking I...
It seems like I have the opposite problem of most people. I had my AMNPS sitting on the bottom rack and about an hour into the smoke it still flared up. Too much air flow I guess
Ok so even after lowering the shelf, it didnt quite work out like I wanted it to. It would still flare up and catch the pellets on fire after about 5 minutes. My best guess is that the burner is pulling air from the bottom up and in turn creating a vacuum that worked in the same way it would if...
Nevermind, I think I already found a solution. I have seen a similar mod done before but it appears that my smoker had it pretty much built in. The only issue I have run into is that being right beneath the burner, my pellets tend to flare up. I think I will lower the shelf and see if this...
I was going to take the needle valve and hose off of the bayou classic and put it on the non-adjustable regulator that I put the link to? It seems like a pretty solid fix
I can probably just take the needle valve and hose off the adjustable regulator and maybe replace it with this

Not sure? Just trying to find an easy quick solution
Mine is slightly different than the picture. I have the male end going into the regulator on mine but instead of a female end, it is crimped. Did not know if there is any way to removed it?
I should have already posted in roll call. Also, does it matter that the regulator itself has a needle valve? or what appears to be? ill post a link. Either way it sounds like I need to drop the adjustable regulator and go with a straight needle valve...
Ok thank you. I know I can probably do a search but what is the best way to go about doing a needle valve setup? Do I absolutely have to order parts or is this stuff I can find at Lowe's?
