Smoker I built inspired by some that I've seen posted here. I've gotten it up to 275° just off of the stove, the propane burner is set to provide 160° constant heat. After tuning, it cooks within 5° across and front to back. I've smoked bacon, country ribs, hams, snack sticks in it so far...
You have to be careful to make sure the smoke doesn't smother the gas flame. We had that happen an it cracked the cinder block wall when the gas exploded. The smoker I just built has a air vent for the gas flame so we won't blow our new smoker up.... I'll try an post a pic..
