Staying real steady at 275*, I thought this was going to be more of a battle to keep temp but it's not at all. The rain stopped so that's good.

So the only trouble I've had so far was I filled my amznt too high and it jumped lanes on me and started producing too much smoke. I handled that and have moved on again to tbs. it is hard to get going I think because of the added moisture from the rain... But once it gets going it's pretty steady.
Oh my! My wife just told me that 2 weeks ago, so I had to take a break. I'm back now though!

Rubbed last night with rub some butt and bone suckin rub. Threw it on my smoker at 250* at 7:45am.
I've been slinging concrete all week and have been looking forward to tending my smoker the whole time.

Good morning! I have a brisket going right now about 2 hours in at the moment. I'm sitting here looking at my smoker leaking smoke from the door thinking of how I can seal it up. Also pondering throwing a stack on it.

I couldn't help myself..... I am having my kids help me to smoke one of the pork sirloin roasts I have.
They are having a blast, and I get to use my smoker while teaching the kids how to BBQ. Win win if you ask me!

Hello y'all! Does anyone else have a problem with always thinking about what your going to smoke? All week while I'm at work I can't seem to stop thinking about meat and smoking meat. I now look forward to weekends because of all the smoking that I'll be doing and end up thinking about it all...
Just got back from the store, they were having a sale so I grabbed some meats to smoke.
Got a brisket flat 4.5#
Some country style ribs
Couple of half breast chicken
A bunch of drumsticks.
Gonna fire it up either tonight or tomorrow morning early. Can't wait for the brisket!
4.5 pound pork butt
Smoked for 11hrs. At 230-250.
Until 205f.
Rested 1 hr. Then pulled and enjoyed!
Enjoyed it at work today and will be again tomorow!
