Firebox port height?
I'm ready to cut my tank to install my firebox. Is there a certain height the half moon port on the firebox should be at the tank? Grate hight? Lower? Higher?- Kitecop

Fire box finish up
I have my first fire box just about assembled. I plan to cut the door out from the inside before welding the rear plate in place. Is there an advantage to making the door shorter rather than the full height of the firebox? My thinking is that a short door will not allow all the heat at the top...- Kitecop

Grate Style
I am doing my first build which is a 120gal and I have seen one recommendation to build round rod grates and not use expanded metal. Anyone second that and is stainless best for grates or keep with mild steel?- Kitecop
