Is continuously Visible smoke required? Also, if you wrap your meat does the smoke help after that or is that part of the process over?

Years ago when I tried to use a smoker there was discussion of wetting the chips or not. What is the thought today? I have an electric smoker and I am just wondering what the preference is. I would think straight dry.

I just bought a Pit Boss series 3 and I am having issues with the door fit. It drags a little at the right bottom corner and the door when closed and not locked has a larger gap at the top.
Does any one have one of these and know how to make adjustments? I have tried the hinges but no luck yet.
