Had a batch of summer sausage in the electric smoker for about 10 hours when the power went out. Power was out for 8 hours and the smoker temp got down to 61 degrees. Is it safe to keep cooking or is the batch ruined. Normal for me is for a batch of SS to take around 24 hours.
I ordered, and have received, several types of pellets to use in my MES 40. Unfortunately, my AMNPS is wrapped as a gift at my mother-in-laws . Will the pellets work ok in the MES's chip holder?
New member here. Been smoking sausage for a lot of years in a dorm sized fridge conversion. Want to start smoking briskets, ribs, pork, etc. so asked the wife to get me a Masterbuilt 40 for Christmas.
