New Smoker
I've been reading/researching on this forum for a month or so. Purchased an MES 40 last week and am excited to start smoking. Will probably smoke mostly fish and chicken; that's what I eat the most of. It started raining heavily (forecast was clear skies) during my first smoke tonight... -
Rain!
Had my brand new MES 40 heating up for my first smoke (whole chicken) and started hearing something outside. Turned out it was a decent downpour. It was pretty wet, including my Mavrick receiver, before I got it covered with a tarp. Hope all is well. Today's forecast was clear skies. Will try...- toddvb
