Masterbuilt not standing by warranty?
I bought an MES and the heating element burnt out after a few months of light use. Customer support was good and sent a new element. When replacing the element I discovered that the silicone behind the heating element has melted and burned. After replacing the element there was a horrible burned...- erik rose

Burnt silicone/rubber smell in MES?
Heating element burnt out in my MES 30 and Masterbuilt sent me a new one. But there is still a horrible burnt metallic/rubber smell. I assume it is silicone. I tried washing all the interior surfaces with vinegar and baking soda, but I can't get rid of the smell. Anyone else have this happen...- erik rose
