    I know it's said " Don't use acidic " stuff , but I've never had an issue with it either . Maybe because it's a low volume thing .

    When I was working as a Mechanic , people would show up with those warranties . Never covered anything they needed , and they all think that all they do is hand you the paperwork , and the car gets fixed .

    Try spring water , or leave some tap water on the counter overnight to off gas like suggested above . You need some minerals to feed the mix in my opinion . Mine got weak on me . Trying to get them going again myself .
