Pretty stoked! this replaced a 20+ year old Kitchenaid that had an abused life. Convection was dead when we moved in, oven broke right before thanksgiving, if you bump the knobs the gas turned on unintentionally...and so on. So this is like going from a VW to a mercedes. And back to where we...
You may want to pull the dish out of the box and put it on the deck or somewhere outside and see what you get. I can get signal with the dish inside the house.
From what I read, you dont need to point the dish at the satellites like dish tv, but just point it up and it will figure it out...
Not a home warranty fan. One of our houses came with one for one year. The couple times we had them out to fix something, they did the cheapest most half a**ed job and were reluctant to replace anything regardless of the state of repair. The repair people were very subpar.
Example 1, they...
On it! Wolf upped their game quite a bot since we bought our first one. this one is a lot more refined. I liked the ice dispenser on the door of the old refer, but it sacrifices a lot of freezer space...and I we are not fans of side by sides.
I think it would quite a bit.
Normally the point is done first and the flat is done second: based on temp alone. From my experience.
IT is a good guide, but probe tender is the rule to go by.
To the "really hard to insert probe"...Do you think the probe was in the deckle?
How did the brisket come out?
almost 16 hours on 8lb brisket sounds like a long time. I would check the probes and the cabinet temps and see if everything is reporting correctly and address that first.
Good to hear all this info. Helps us make the transition. Soon as its warm Im gonna buy a mount and climb the ladder. Planning to mount to a deck support about 15-20 ft up, just below deck level out of sight. Obviously test the site first, but doubt there will be an issue since I can run...
true, the ones we put in the old house were worth it. Sold the house in one day.
Buy once cry once. cant deal with buying new appliances just to have them crap out prematurely. All the GE stuff that came in our house here, has died before 5 years old. Refer still works but it has this crazy...
I think I mentioned a while back our oven died right after thanksgiving. The old refer is a GE, its the last of the GE appliances that came in the house...the rest have died. The old refer is loud AF.
When we remodeled our old house we put in a Wolf and Subzero. They were hard to leave...
If our power didnt go out all the time I would stick with Comcast, we get great speeds and reliability...till the power crap s out. I mean, we bought a back up gen. Not very affordable but the power issues are real and significant
It has a snow melt function if it does.
I have it set up on a roaming plan in the closet (yes inside). Speeds are slower for sure, but still strong enough to run all the streaming TV. That was the litmus test. Now I am pretty convinced that with the dish outside we would have no issues...
