I can't believe they put a full sec back on the clock. I watched it over and over and if you count it down in your head and watch the ball hit the ground, there might have been a mili sec at best. McCoy was very lucky....
I'm going to say Fire it up is on the money, though I'd probably go for 4 hours myself with that pineapple juice. TIP: Grill some fresh pineapple slices on the grill to serve with your pork loin. Makes a great compliment for a marinade like that.
WElcome Matt, I woke up to 36 degrees here in kinda sunny Jacksonville. Tebow tears are still falling, kinda blocking our sunshine for the day, but we'll get past this....
I'm impressed. Very nice looking wood. I just got back from Lowes a bit ago where I paid $8 for a bag of chunk Hickory. They had small 2lb bags of Apple chips for $5, the crooks...
Did a lil research for you. The site has been up since 2002. here are the owner and contact details.. http://who.godaddy.com/WhoIs.aspx?do...rog_id=godaddy
The BBB shows no complaints against the business or the website.
I've never seen eggs on the smoker before :) Fatty looks good, hard to go wrong with them. You did a great job with only one pound of sausage. Looks like the sausage wall is perfect all the way around.
If you cooked that bird soley at 220 degrees, you are looking at an estimated 36+ hours. The meat will be in the danger zone for far too long to be safe to eat. More then likely you'll have to finish in the oven.
Have you considered cutting the turkey in half and cooking it as two pieces?
I'd...
I can't believe they ran Demps only one time. And Stamford on defense was a poor joke....
Congrats Bama.... You outplayed us all the way... Gator defense and offense play calling sucked...
That is a given. Anything food touches should be cleaned each time.
Just to give the original poster an idea, I have a Brinkmann Smoke n Pit that was made in 1989. It was given to me by my best friend for Christmas. I have only cleaned it out once, and that was because I was placing it inside...
There is another post going on about the GOSM and apparently Bass Pro does carry them, in stock for $199. I no longer have any idea what is going on with Great Outdoors, other then 2 different smokers carry the exact same name.
You don't want to clean it until it is absolutely necessary. If it has accumulated enough grease to pose a fire hazard or of creosote build up is thick, it is time to clean.
I use Mean Green degreaser to clean my smokers and grills. It is a great degreaser that is non-toxic.
I leave all my shoulders and butts on until they hit 200 degrees. Allow the meat to set for awhile before you attempt to pull apart. It will continue to cook and rise in temp as it rests for awhile. Don't foget the qview!!
The one Walmart and Amazon carry are made by Weber. There is also a Great Outdoors company (or was) that made the Smokey Mountain Cooker. It's kinda of confusing.
Google smokey mountain cooker and you'll see exactly how confusing it can get.
I brine my chicken for several reasons. Flavor, juiciness, and allows the meat to cook longer without burning or drying out. Flavor is my number one reason.
check out his smoked Turkey recipe. The brine mix is awesome and surprisingly simple. the smoked tomato soup is great too. Emeril is a classic.... I would love a copy of that book.
