Great looking birds. Love it when the GA boys represent with a solid performance. Go DAWGS... P.S. My wife is a UGA grad and my in laws live in Athens. So I am extra proud of you
Glad to have a new GA boy here!!! What part are you from?? Update you profile so people can get to know ya and your rigs. We love pics of food so make sum . GO DAWGS!! I don't know on crepe myrtle. I have never seen it on a list of sutible smoking woods. I would'nt use it.
I used hickory. However that is mostly because that and oak is what is availible around here. Pecan would be good. The ground beef soaked up a lot of the hickory flavor. Being a meatloaf srtong on onion flavor I probably wouldn't choose a fruitwood.
Cute Baby! The best part about the fact that he is your grandson is that you can give him to mom when he has a stink pickle in his pants! Or when hes crying ect...
I have my share of stink pickles everyday.
Yes I agree with Coley and Big arm... You beg if you must. It's ok. Try groveling and crying. Stomping feet works sometimes. I had to reduce myself to begging to get my lang. It was worth it! Good luck and Happy B-day
Are you happy now Squeez?
Oh yeah here is meoweys recipe. It is on DJ's page anyone can get it. It is very simple and tastes awsome. I like Smoked meatloaf way better than fattys.

What is an ideal weight rack of ribs in ya'll opionin? I did 3 lb loin backs the other day. I almost thought they were to meaty. If that is possible they were still very good.
I would like to start a thread on how to cook pork ribs ,baby, or spare without using foil. I love the 3-2-1 method and have achieved very good results. I have read other posts out there that suggest the "purest form" produces better ribs. Lets discuss time and temp and opinions. Also is is...
You should check out this operation also. They are reverse flow and local. I also know of a guy in Loganville who will custom build one for you. Very well priced. I would have bought one from him but I found the used Lang in S.C. Good luck
