    The BBQ Central podcasts are pretty good. There's new one with an interview with Gary Notley of Notley Que. He gives some inside info on the Pitmasters show. I've listened to a few of these now.....worth a listen for sure.

    The BBQFAQ is a great resource.....lots of great information to be found there. I used to read the AFB newsgroup when I first got started in smoking about 12 years ago. Looking forward to trying that finishing sauce by Rivet.

    Thanks DDave....thats pretty much how I planned on adding a drip pan....just set a lower rack in the drum. I don't foil at all....so it should help.

    I have Ryteks book...I used to live in Buffalo, and shopped right at the Sausage Maker to get my supplies. It's a great book too....I hope to add Charcuterie to my collection soon.

    Thanks for the tips guys....I'll be sure to let you how I make out with adding a pan. 69cam....I just gonna add a drip pan above the coal basket. I'll rig something up temporarily just to see how it works. Does the smoker paint match the car? What smoker is that? It sure looks good...
