Had to look up the tiny smoker after reading the blueberry fatty thread...
The pic of Nathan and the smoker is awesome - nice depth of field and composition...
Very nice! Love the trowel handle - ingenious!
I agree with BBQG - a bottle opener would complete the package... and I'm saving that idea for when I build my drum ;) Can never have enough bottle openers...
Stone's AB is ok, I haven't had the Oaked version. I really like their Imperial Stout and this year's Anniversary Ale sounds tempting.
Thing is, I usually have to pick it up when I'm in TN or KY, GA doesn't have a distributor... yet. There's a rumor that we'll be able to buy Stone brews...
LEM is a good brand when it comes to just about anything dealing with meat prep. I've got their meat grinder and sausage stuffer...
While I've not tried that seasoning mix, I'd sure be willing to try it.
Let us know how it turns out!
Nice! I don't have a welder, and this saves me from having to trouble a friend for welding... :)
Good ol' bailing wire... it's in the same list as duct tape...
I think the cast iron the stock box is made of is thinner than a cast iron skillet... I have had no problems with it making smoke in a very timely manner.
When I add more chunks, it takes 10-12 or so minutes to start smoking, but we try to get the box out, get it emptied and refilled before it...
Nice find! We saw one identical (except black), at a yard sale today, one of those 'got it never used it' things... she wanted $35 for it, bonuses included a bag of wood chunks (didn't look close enough to see what kind) and a grill mat.
Had a little rust inside, but everything else was...
Rich, you've helped me find some great spice sources online, and I'm looking forward to trying this on ribs this weekend...
Thanks for the sauce recipe and You Rock!
Hey Shooter... more Alabama folks (and SW fans) - yeah! I'm in GA, but 'Bama will always be home sweet home.
I think you'll like it here, I've gained a ton of info from the posts of these people, and help with the courage to experiment a little more.
