    But btw the food looks amazing. I gotta try some country style ribs. My mom used to cook them to death in a crock pot. I imagine on the smoker would be much better.

    So im curious why you have an electric smoker but got the tube smoker. Is this only for the smoke ring or is thrre another reason? I guess ive only figured the amazin products are to supplement smoke or to be creative and not really neccassary. Then again I got a wsm this spring so ill probably...

    I used mine last night for some burgers, it works well but the lid is very strange. mine doesnt seem to be round so I always have a gap on one side or the other but it doesnt really matter....Also I notice on yours the lip at the top of the leg sticks up over the edge farther then mine...

    Wood is doing amazing. Its burni jg completly and once piece at a time if I need is enough to keep a tbs. Tried the spare ribs trimmings. Oh man there good so far.

    Yep cold and windy about sums it up lol. sometimes snow sometimes ICE we just never know.

    hmm im not sure why you would worry about a hot coal in the trash can. I snuff mine out by closing the vents so I never have to dump out any coals, only ash and those i suck out with a shop vac the next day.     Ill have to try some of these suggestions. for everyones information the wood I use is sold at walmart and is this http://www.westernbbqproducts.com/hickory1.html The same wood sold on the website for old smokey grills and smokers.

    oh thats cool, I got the legs the thermometer and the big wire brush for the heck of it. 21 bucks for shipping, a little steep but it says on there site they refund the difference if it ships for less....we will see about that...
