    A friend of mine used to use several pieces of wax paper with a rubber band to hold the paper. This would help take up space between the plate, and the stuffer's wall. The only drawback is after a while the paper becomes very soggy, and you have to replace the wax paper. I got tired of doing...

    I just ordered the Weston 12" meat slicer, and will let the forum know how well or bad it works. As for the Hobart, no one can deny the quality, but you will pay fore it's name. As some say you get what you pay for, so I will know soon if it holds true for everything. JB
