    3.8# Tri Tip with qView

That looks beautiful!!! Tri tip is one my favorites. Just slice across the grain, which can be somewhat tricky because it goes in two different directions. Anyway, looks like it's going to be fantastic, enjoy!

    Reflectix!

Nice, you'll be done soon...and 7 1/2 hours on one load of fuel...wow!! I was really surprised at just how big a difference it makes, and it's so easy to work with! Today it's snowing so I made the hat.  Got mac 'n cheese in there now, getting some smoke. Then the scarbelly wings go in next...

    Super Bowl Brisket!

Mmmm, that looks excellent!! I'm a big fan of the Aaron Franklin method, too, Although what I read said that he wraps the brisket in butcher paper for an hour after it's done and off the smoker, not while it's still cooking.  Anyway, great job and best of luck with getting a new smoker!!

It's so funny you mention that about the wings..I had to go to 3 different grocery stores before I found whole wings!! I guess they assume everyone is making buffalo wings for the game! I like the idea of doing both, but I only have one rack in my mini at the moment, so don't have the space...

    Reflectix!

Shout out to Keith for telling me about this! I made a Reflectix tube for my mini today. Lowe's had a really tall version of it, but it was cheaper to buy this shorter roll from Amazon and use the foil tape to stack it. I had to try this out before tomorrow, when I'll be smoking for guests...

Thanks Chase! I'm hoping to do some dry ribs for the super bowl, will see. Can't decide between that or chicken wings. Anyway, love this thread and all the beautiful q-view!

Yikes, I should have waited until after I had lunch before I looked at this thread! Anyway, here's some ribs I did on my mini a couple weeks ago. I don't normally sauce my ribs, but my guest prefers them this way so I gave in. :)

Post A Picture of Your COMPLETED Mini-WSM Here ! (Mini Weber Smokey Mountain, MWSM)

What I did for the cow & pig cut-outs was use a stencil and some painters tape. I laid out slightly overlapping strips of painters tape onto a piece of cardboard, then used a stencil and an exacto knife to cut the block of tape to shape. Because the painters tape doesn't stick that well to the...

    Where's the beef!!!

Mmm, that looks tasty! Nice and juicy and a perfect med-rare!! Did you use cherry for smoke? The roast seems to have that cherry-pink glow on the outside.
