At the risk of being handled 3-2-1 I am interested to find out if anyone has ever oven cooked their ribs before smoking. Slow in the oven about 200 degrees for about 3-4 hours, covered, with a bottle of beer for company. Then held until cool, then smoked for another 3 or so.
