    Got my GOSM - time to smoke!

    /agree with brent about every thing. GOSM may take a little longer than 20mins but that depends on your own mechanical aptitude but it is still every easy no matter what it is. Smoked foods freeze well and I would suggest you get a vac sealer it will come in handy if you get addicted and you will.

    GOSM need help making smoke

    I replaced mine with a $3 9x9 cake pan and I use the original pan lid for it an I get smoke much quicker now.

    I always just put mine on the rack. i throw mine in the freezer for a 1/2hr to an hr before I put them on the smoker to make them firmer to handle.

    Thats a great idea would have never thought of that to get some thing to make a charcoal fire in and just use that for the lower temps.
