What are you using to interface your computer to the outside world?
I've thought about doing this with hardware - temp probe, potentiometer, op amp, output transister, fan. It would be pretty cheap.
But, like you, I like gadgets so a bought a stoker and a guru. I'm going to eventually write...
Why not just purchase the fan from guru/stoker? It has the choke already attached as well a heat sink so the fan don't melt. Stoker is TTL (5v) and guru 12v. I used to be in electronics but migrated to software. What's a PID? Got a schematic?

Both. You don't want your guests to get that crappy bony side do you? I found it's great for making a pork stock.
Trim then pull the membrane. Smoke the bony trimmings a couple of hours then put them in a crock pot overnight covered with water on lo. In the morning strain, (reserve the stock)...
these were spares hand hewn to St. Louis. 3-2-.5-glaze-.5.
Ribs should not be falling of the bone. The meat should stay on the bone on either side of the bite. When you can pick them up like this and they don't break in the middle they are ripe:
take the "ribs" up to the meat counter and tell them you want the piece of meat where the ribs came from, bone in. If they can't accommodate you then go somewhere else as they are useless.
You could also cook picnic if you wanted. That's pretty available.

Howdy and welcome to our little obsession. I must say though - get a rib rack. Those things are crying to me. I use the wsm exclusively for ribs in comps and have 2 rib racks to place them on.
Hey, any contests in CA? I'm 70 mi south of the border and can make it Montreal in 1.5 hours (if they...
