    did you call Craig yet and see what he wants for a wheel, more than likely its going to be cheap enough they may not even mess with a claim and just pay for it, I would certainly think whatever hit that wheel had to have some damage also.

    we got lucky and the president of the KCBS taught our class, they tricked us with red spinach, pooled some sauce once, all the little tricks that should get a guy disqualified, one chicken was very spicy and a 360 lb(at least) grollywog women claimed it was unetible and a 2, another older guy...

    welcome to the SMF, we won't hold that husker thing against ya Old timers claim you can use bbq sauce along the edges of the doors to seal them up, sounds like it might be a little sticky and messy at first but after bbq sauce gets all burnt and sledgy I could see it being effective.

    my splits are flavor woods, cherry mainly, some apple, pear and hickory. If a pit draws right you can burn flavor woods all day long without adding to much smoke flavor, I don't like mesquite at all so hickory is the strongest wood I use, the cherry is nice because its a little less powerful...

    I usually figure one split for every thirty minutes of cooking, so for a 12 hour cook I would want at least 24 splits on hand.

    Yeah, Hy Vee is king around here, Dahls is another local chain and Fareway has a select few stores here.

    it was fine print like that which caused the death of albertsons around here, they built five or six brand new buildings and tried to break into this market a few years back, only made it a year to two and then closed the stores and sold off the properties, one local chain got right on it buying...
