    I havent ever done that, but I was just thinking about it while driving home last night! I have had a steak at a local steak house that was soaked in beer then cooked and it was tasty, one of the best steaks I have ever had actually. I would also think a lighter beer may be better in this case...

    I foil both as well, but I have smoked a butt with no foil, stall was much longer didnt notice much difference in texture although the bark was a little bit more pronounced on the nonfoil one. Ribs all I have ever done is foil them 3-2-1 or 2-2-1, might have to try without now though and see...

    ok so here are the pics, sorry if some are not the easiest to see.. Label on the box model# 20071009, if you look close you can see the 20070508 model # on the sticker underneath the newer model # sticker... Plate on the back of the smoker model #20070508 they have 2 totally different model...

    That lloks good, there is a nce bark on it, I smoked mine @ 240 and I think it took about 5.5 hours. I did run into a snag though when I ran out of propane and the temps were dropping. Almost had it to 160, when I was going to foil it, then it ran out of gas and went down to 140. Came back up...
