Sent out lass to the butchers this morning and she returned with 12lb of pork shoulder. Only problem is its the picnic and not the butt!!
Will it still cook OK for pulled pork? Never done a picnic before
Will take the skin etc off.
Will post pics etc just incase it turns out good...
Definitely nothing on it mate. Took the stripping disc to it and made no difference to the surface. The surface had started to brown over with rust from the few days sat 'unsealed' since I took the seal off the lid
All done.
First UDS now seasoning.
Plans for the next one are to build it the same, but to add some removable hangers to turn the thing into a grill as well as a smoker.
Hopefully these pictures inspire others or help people :)
