i always smoke mine before frying it completly dries the outside of the bird and there is no boil over when you put it in..you just have to be careful of over cooking because it also seriously cuts down on the frying time....also if you filter the oil good and keep it in a cool place it will...
Didn't do anything special for my birthday. the wife made me a big pan of lasagna and a cake, i figured i would do some BBB's..didn't take any prep pics as i have been busier than heck trying to get stuff done to the house before the snow flies.
i prepped 3 racks of BB's with some lysanders...
