Well just did my first overnight and woke up to -21F and dead calm wind conditions. Wsm hovered around 230 all night long with a full load, I just replenished the fire to finishe the cook. Around 8.5 hours on a full load of fuel in -21, I'll take that any day! I just can't say enough good things...- bk21

Therm Grommet
Looking at other builds it seems as if the maverick wouldn't fit into the small grommets. Am I wrong in saying this? What should use so I can use my maverick with my mini? -

Temp question
Would it make sense to put my amps in my electric smoker with no heat or do I want to keep it closer to that 70/80 degree mark? I did my first batch from 60-80 degrees for around 2 hrs with apple, rested for 2 weeks and it was ok. Temps this weekend are low teens, I guess the question is do I...- bk21

How does the wsm hold temps in cold weather? I live in northern Minnesota where our temps will hover around 0 in the winter wondering how it does in these conditions? I'm buying one either way, just curious.- bk21
