    Rub question

    I've always rubbed my butts 24 hours before the cook.  I have some ribs in the frig that were rubbed early yesterday afternoon and will be smoking them this afternoon. Perfectly fine and no issues doing this.

    The issue with putting items like what you are going to smoke in a pan is that the underside of the bacon won't get any smoke and will look pale.  What you can do is find a wire rack that will fit inside the pan and then put it inside and then the food in.  This would allow for heat and smoke to...

    Yes that welder is OK for some things.  You do get a bit of splatter though.  I used it to weld my homemade diffuser plate for my smoker.

    I would suggest that you buy them from maybe a butcher as I bought some from the Wally world and they didn't have much meat on them.  They looked good but just didn't have much meat.
