Yep really its not worth all the stuff you have to go through .. I would just continue to sell to your friends .
Not in mass ... good luck .. I know I tried to do the same thing .. you have to do it under a health inspected kitchen .. you can't do it out of your home .
Call your local health inspector and see what they have to say ..

Actually you can buy fresh milk for cheese here .. its in the dairy protection act here in Mass .. which I LOVE because when I feel like it I CAN make cheese !!

What do you mean spuds ? I know the cheese wax is pliable .. but if Mrs Spuds wants it pretty then well ya better do what the Mrs says .. beeswax is pretty good but .. its a little sticky also
But.. if you do wax your cheese make sure to still care for it .. turn it every week .. no matter...

Yes / no... I have a cheese making book .. I will dig it out later on and let you know what it says .. its like a parafin sp? wax that is used .. way back when I made a wheel of cheddar the instructions were to wax it after a certain amount of time .. Let me dig the book out for you tho .

Yes they really do make a wonderful beer .. They have expanded and now have a brewery in Vermont now as well ..
a local restaruant here "The Chateau" has its own IPA made by Harpoon also .. Very similar to Harpoon IPA Very good as well .
I think your all about a month or more ahead of us .. ours are usually middle of June into July .. I only have a small bit of land with 3 blueberries .. strategic planning is what I have to do ..
