Someone on here told me to do the same thing. I used 2 x 4 the length of the inside to support it, layed it down with the football knock out facing up and pounded it right out with a regular hammer. Came out real easy.
bigbaldbbq, no prob!
sdesmond, alot of people on this forum seem to like the Royal Oak briqs better cuz they feel they have less additives than Kingsford. I personally prefer Kingsford, but it's up to you. Seem to make less ash than Kingsford do, but I don't know if they get as hot. Try...
It's not vaccum sealed. it's just got the grocery store plastic wrap on it. If I put it in water, it will probably come off after a while. I just didn't know if the shoulder would soak up the water. I'll try using some saran wrap and put it in the sink with cold water.

LOL! Good point. I've actually been kicking around the idea of making one out of a 30 gallon drum. That's how I ran across the link. It'd be much easier to move around I'm sure. If you make it, be sure to post pics. I'd love to see how it came out.

B Anderson is definitely better than Wise defensively, but he can't hit a lick!
Chisoxjim, if you ever get out to Yorkville, Ill. there is a butcher shop that called Dave's Meat Market on Bridges St(Rt 47). They sell a brand of lump I've never seen before. I forget the name of it, but they sell some good cuts of meat there too.
Another Sox fan huh? too bad about...
I've been looking ever since I saw the pic yesterday. Seems like they have them in Germany, but all I found was this place. and it comes in 4 seperate piece, not like the one showed in the pic.
