Hey Rivet, thanks for the tips! Maybe we'll do it in the oven then. I think it will be hard to tend to my Chargriller in the rain over and over again. Either way, I will take some pics.
Here are some pics! My wife is giving me a hard time about smoking it cuz it will take too long. I didn't tell her it's supposed to rain tomorrow either! lol She wants to put it in the oven. I'm going to marrinate it overnight. The person who gave it to my neighbor is puerto rican so...
Its a fresh leg. the neighbor put the leg in the freezer then decided to just give it to me. It was a little frozen and it was bought yesterday. They must have just put it in freezer today.
My neighbor just gave me a pig leg. His co-worker gave it to him and he didn't know what to do with it so he gave it to me! lol It's 13.1 lbs! How long do I cook this and to what temperature? I want to make it tomorrow. Any tips or suggestions will be appreciated!

I'm here all week until Sunday. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of BBQ joint here near the city. Trip Advisor recommends Fat Matt's Rib Shack.
Thanks! :)
Does anyone have any pics of sealing the rear of a CGSP? I've seen pictures if people sealing the front and sides, but not the rear. I like the way NCDODAVE sealed his with the rope in the chargriller sticky! I am planning on going this route. Any pics would be appreciated! thanks!
To be honest with you, I'd just install the charcoal grate.

I did this and i was able to hold 225 for like 4-5 hours on one chimney of Kingsford briquettes. That's pretty much the only mod I did. Before this the charcoal would smother itself in...
