I always meant to make some custom wood handles but it's just one of the thousands of things That I never got to. Probably because I never remember them until I go to lift the lid and have to look for a towel or gloves.
BTW: the jinx hit me with this discussion. I went to use the grill for some...
Another Weber fan here.
You may have to replace the cooking grid after several years but they aren't that expensive.
No pics but I have 4 of them in various sizes. They're my go to cooker for any direct grilling.
The only thing negative with the newer ones is the cheap composite handle. The...
It's a day's drive from your area to Nahunta, GA for a new Lang.
A day down and a day back with one night in a reasonable hotel is way better than $550.

Top the chili with some course shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Maybe some celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.
Come on ice cream in the morning!!
Just go easy with the weed burner on the expanded metal cooking grates. Too much and they start to sag. I didn't ruin them but they had a severe low spot after the weed burner degunking burn
I ordered some of their chili seasoning and just made a big pot the other day.
Each packet is supposed to be good for 2# of meat. I intended to use 4# of meat so I used one packet each of their Texas Chili and Ghost Pepper Chili.
I ended up with 2# of smoke brisket flat cut into 1/2 “ cubes...
