I have located roughly 12’-0” of 20”Ø pipe. I was going to make a couple 6’-0 smokers and put them on a trailer but have decided to make (3) 4’-0 patio type smokers instead.
Based on the calculator each smoker will be:
Cook Chamber – 19”Ø x 36” (10201.86 cubic in)
Firebox – 19”Ø x 12”...
After looking at their website I found this:

It looks like it might only come in 2 shades of grey.
Dave,
We weren’t planning on using the IR. The plan was to open up the center divider between the charcoal side and the propane side of the grill. The charcoal side could than be used as the firebox and the propane side as the cook chamber.
It appears this thread has been duplicated; more...
OK I found the post you were referring to ( http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/110357/seen-this-at-sams/20 ) and it is very similar to the one he has with the exception that his did not come with a side fire box. I have told him about this and he is going to see if he can purchase the fire box...
I am sorry. When the message poped up I just assumed the links were corrupt. I better get my first 20 posts done
Michael

I used steel perforated plate. it has 3/8 diameter holes with 1/8 of material between them. Next time i will go with something that has more open area like the expanded metal.
This is how I seasoned mine before first use:
easy scrub with water and sos type pad (both sides of grate)...
I just got on Horizons website and this is the same thing as their 16" Ranger. The description they give states that the horizontal tube will cook at 250 for hours and the vertical at 160-200. Not exactly what the current owners end results are said to be but at least it looks like I should be...
it currently doesn't have the plates but if I get this it will before the first use. I just don't know if tuning the horizontal will help tune the vertical. I would guess that i could get the temp difference better than 150 as the current owner states by just tuning the horizontal but I have...
this is the one being offered. Guy says it was custom made to be "left handed".
I have been up close with this and really like it. It is built sturdy with +/- 1/4" plate and fully welded. But there will be times that I will want to use both chambers to cook and the heat difference he is...
I have been offered an older 16" Oklahoma Joe smoker in trade. It is the model with both horizontal and vertical tubes. The gages are Brinkman and I have been told that this smoker was made at the same time that Oklahoma Joes was bought out. Don't know much history on the brand but from what...

I live in Iowa and have been smoking for a few years with the smoker in my avatar as well as cooking on a large trailer grill.
After having some decent results on the smoker I recently entered a few competitions. As my smoker is too large to maneuver and as it is set up for propane it really...
