    Follow what Al said, to get you warmed up.  When you are ready to challenge the brisket, I find full briskets at Walmart and Sams club.

    I'll throw my 2 cents in with the pros.   It was easier before and now your are having problems.....  Have you tested your thermo lately in boiling water....  Maybe it's gone bad / wrong reading.

    Thanks for the recipe.  How was the apple taste?  I made some chicken apple and used just regular apple ground in with the chicken.  I could taste the apple, but I wanted more of it.
