    Thanks, The recipe I am using for Slim Jims I have all the ingrediants except Amesphos and citric acid which I plan on just leaving out, I think I remember you said you can use "Tang" for a citric acid substitute once, is that right? MMMmmmm Elk sticks sound great!!

    Had some Nice steaks from Costco for dinner last night with some baked tators and a salad. I put the bakers on the grill 45 minutes before cooking the steaks and added some pecan chips for a little smoke flavor.

    4th of July Turkey smoke (now with Q-view)

    I would FTC it (wrap in FOIL, wrap in a TOWEL or two and put in a small COOLER). This will work excellent and still be hand burning hot after two hours and keep the moisture in.
