    Steak-umm Fattie

I am trying to figure out the best way to do a Venison sausage fattie... The venison is so lean I don't think it will hold together.  Maybe I need to find a source for some caul fat... maybe that would work... Those look great BTW

    JUST GETTING STARTED

So far today I have gotten the whole thing built, now it has a big fire in it.  I will wait for that to die down and then I will go spray the inside with some pam, wait for it to cool down, and tomorrow I will do a test burn. Not a bad day's work... Happy New year!!!

    New Guy From MA

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am an avid cook, but fairly new to BBQ.  I have done a few cooks on a makeshift smoker at our Camp in VT.  But nothing very good.  I have learned how to use my Gas Grill to produce some fairly good ribs, but decided late last summer that I really wanted to do...

    JUST GETTING STARTED

Santa was good to me. He got me a cheap 22 1/2 in grill, and a gift card to Lowes.  My drum is at the sandblaster (hopefully will be done tomorrow) if i get it back by the weekend I plan on doing my build on New Years day.  I have three pallets ready to burn it out, and just got back from Lowes...
