OK....I was FINALLLY able to place an order for the new Master Forge Double Door Propane Smoker with the fold down side shelf. It should be in by next Friday
Just wondering if anyone has this new model, how it's working and what mods may be different from the last model?

Roller, Do you think it would be usable by fall or should I just figure on using it next year? It's definitly green right now but I was hopin by cutting it in 2 to 4 inch rounds it would season a little more quickly.

Hi Al......About 98% of our heating is with wood so chain saw and wood splitter are part of our landscape.
Some of what you see is Oak, Hickory and Maple so yesterday I did go out and cut some 2,3 and 4 inch rounds so they can at least start to dry. Maybe I can use them for smoke a few months...
Ok....So I'm still waiting for Lowes to have the new Master Forge Double Door Propane Smoker available so I can place my order.
In the mean time I've begun to get some wood ready......think this will be enough to get me started? Let me know.....

Hi Guys, I just want to clarify for when I do get my smoker...wipe all the inside down first...then spray with olive oil..... then light her up with wood in the smoker box and take her up to about 300 degrees. I don't mean to sound thick (but I probably am)....does that process sound correct...
OK.....you guys never cease to amaze me...who would a thunk......grilled cheese on a grill!!!! I'm going to have to give it a go.
And those pork roast look GREAT!!!!
