    If you want to speed up the pellicle, you can place in front of a fan for 3-4 hours. Then you can smoke the same day. I always get in a hurry for a good ole BLT.

    Have you tried a Mexican store or supplier? Maybe Smart and Final? I was out in the San Diego area about 3 months ago and priced bellies. $4/lb. They kept their bellies and I made Buckboard Bacon. Butts came from Smart and Final.
