Good advice is to read through some of the forums on briskets. Make up a game plan and then tell everyone the plan. From there people will be able to give you pointers. I hope I don't come across as rude, but the question is just too open.
The factory thermometer on a Chargriller is completely useless. Check your temps at grate level with an accurate thermometer. Also, did you punch out the knockout between the firebox and the cooking chamber?
