Haven't posted in long time but seeing as it's the Holiday Weekend, here goes.
Will be smoking a Pork Boston Shoulder Roast for Pulled Pork on a Mini WSM.
Have a 7.8 pound roast.
OK. Been a bit busy lately and this is not the best QView as I lost some of the pics, but here it goes.
Cut out the bottom from expanded metal.

These were cut out from what was left. A little over 2 feet 3 inches long.
They can only be 3 1/2 inches to 4 inches tall.

Took lid off for picture of temp probe.
You can see the white lead with a black tip...
Temp dropped to 212 while lid was off...
Recovered nicely within 2 minutes...
Sitting in an ice bath...
In ice bath, guess this one doesn't like the cold...
