    Regulator And Valve Questions

Sorry about that, I got a call as I was posting. I meant to add reference to the After-Burner after the line "Next 2 questions are general and not related to the BBQ Grillware unit." Thanks for your help!

    Regulator And Valve Questions

I am new to propane. I have the BBQ Grillware smoker that does not have a regulator at the tank, just the control on the unit. Is the control the same as a regulator? Someone posted that I should get a needle valve for the tank, is this correct? Would I be gaining anything by doing so? The...

    CharGriller With AfterBurner

Just got the AfterBurner. I know, lazy me. The unit fits good, I could see a couple Mod's I would have changed but overall good. It is heavy duty.

    Turkey Fryer

Not sure where to post this or if anyone is interested. I just picked up a "original outdoor cooker" model 2515 at Target for $9.98 on clearance, 75% off. The 30qt pot is pretty light aluminum. I think for no more than I will use itâ€8482s worth the money.

    Char-Griller Pro

I did not mean to talk down anyone's rig. I like mine, what I was trying to say is the unit is great for the price but the construction is thin walled metal not to good at holding heat and it does leak smoke pretty bad. But it will make some great BBQ, no doubt about it.

    Char-Griller Pro

Thanks Daniel, I have seen the posts on extending the exhaust stack. To be honest the upper rack if not removed is really in the way for that Mod. If I did the baffle with tuning plate that may be a way to go, I really would like to find out more about reverse flow. These BBQ's are not very...

    Char-Griller Pro

Hi all, I am getting ready for the upcoming BBQ season. I need some advice, should I remove the original exhaust stack and move it to the opposite side making the smoker a reverse flow unit. If I do this I will install a baffle to direct the heat down then use a 1 piece tuning plate so the...

    Dutch's "Wicked Baked Beans"

Tried these today, left out the green peppers and mustard powder. I got to tell you, these are great! Put just enough crushed red pepper to give it the right amount of heat. Everyone raved about them. Thanks Dutch...

    Water and Ash

I don't know if this a repeat but thought I would share. It really shows the importance of keeping you Grill or Firebox clean. I have a habit of dumping my Weber ash tray (cold) over my wall into the alley. I have been doing this for years; dump a few here then there. I also dump dirt and...

    Finishing sauce, A couple questions

I seen a couple different opinions on this. I use a drip pan under the grate, some place the butt right in a alum pan. What does placing the butt into the pan offer. Also on using finishing sauce from the drip pan under grate. (seems I remember reading this) I almost poured this onto my roast...

    couple of pork questions

Hi, I am new to smoking also. I have done only 5 butts. I have it down to where the meat just falls apart. I would BBQ until 165° @ 225° then wrap in foil. Take the butt to 195° then remove from BBQ and wrap in 2 towels and put in a dry cooler for 2 hours. Unwrap and enjoy pulled pork. I...

    Tuning The Chargriller

Going to tune my Chargriller with the SFB. I plan on getting some 3/8" thick steel plates. How much gap would I want between the plates? 1/2, 3/4, 1" Etc... Trying to figure out how many plates I need. Would it be better to have more plates and less gap or fewer with wider gaps? I am also going...
