    Anyone ever cook the ribs ONLY, cut off large rib roasts?

    Prep night before, mustard, favorite rub (Tony's, Jeff's rub,etc). Set smoker @ 250, smoke 2 hours,on the rack. Wrap toghtly in foil, cook 2 hours, unwrap place back on rack, cook one hour mop occassionally. good luck and enjoy.

    Pit Boss Pellet Smoker, Pecan cherry mix, 225 f @hrs on Smoke 2Hrs, wrapped in heavy duty foil, 3 times, 2 hrs on heat. Mop with spices and bourbon every 30 min or so, be careful taking them out of the smoker, they fall apart!

    Smoker is less than a year old, element is less than 2 months old. I use it once or twice a month, and keep it covered when not in use.

    I have MES 30 analog smoker, love it, except for the fact that I am now on my (soon to be) third heating element.  Any body else have this problem?

    Love mine, Got it at Kubota of Monroeville, al. Neighbors and family love the finished product, and I don't have to tend it all day long.   Set the temp, set the remote digital alarm and wait for the finished product.
