Had a decent pork loin cut into chops on the charcoal grill last night, saved a nice end for today's smoke. Found 6 chicken legs at the store this morning, marked down to $1.50. Why not do both on the smoker?
So the legs are lollipop style with basic spices and the loin has salt, pepper, oil...
My Wife loves Country Style ribs on the charcoal grill with BBQ sauce. She's not a big "smoker" fan, I think this one is worth a try, it might convince her. Those DO look good.
Late!
I hear yeah. I pulled it at 162°F, then foiled. Man was this one GOOD.
Had left overs at work, a few coworkers smelled the goodies in the kitchen. as the title says "Yum-Yum"
Had the need for an afternoon smoke. Decided to do a TB and did a 4 hour brine.
Nothing fancy for the brine, salt, sugar, carrots, onions, seasonings,
Cooked at 300 -325°F for 4-1/2 hours. Coated with salt/ pepper / garlic salt.
Wow - was it good. Had a nice left over tray and will make soup...
