    I got the nickname Big Dog early in my law enforcement career and it stuck. I was also the first K9 handler in my departments history so I just kinda merged them into my "handle." I'm also a musician of sorts and the avatar pic is of me blowing some blues harp in front of my band.

    You can cover those louvered vent holes as long as you're only smoking with it. If you're searing or cooking on very high heat you'll need run it bare-backed. Same with the grills that have the slide feature.

    They might just be temporarily out of those woods. I have some 100% apple that I bought online from Dick's Sporting Goods. It was a little more expensive per bag than the blend. Cabela's has Apple in stock right now and they are made by LJ.
